The 38-year-old referee will be assisted by his compatriots – assistant FIFA referees Jun Mihara and Kota Watanabe. The fourth official will be Ryo Tanimoto.

The match will be held in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium on September 5 in Group A.

Team Melli, headed by Amir Ghalenoei, will travel to Dubai five days later to meet the UAE.
