Amir Jamshidi, the observer of the customs office in Mazandaran province, added that the export of goods from the customs offices of this northern province registered a 35 and a 13 percent growth in weight and value, respectively.
More than 120 groups of commodities were exported from the provincial customs offices in Noshahr, Amirabad, Sari, Fereydounkenar and Amol in this period, including $49 million of dairy products, he stated, ISNA reported.
The customs offices of the province exported cement, valued at $19 million, normal metals, valued at $18 million, plastic materials, valued at $17 million, and minerals, valued at $5 million, in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year, he said.
Iraq was the top importer of goods from the province in this period, importing 47,000 tons of products, valued at $58.406 million, Jamshidi noted.
