Economy

In a meeting with Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan, Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi said that trade exchanges between Iran and Armenia are on an upward trajectory.

He proposed the establishment of a standard training working group between the two countries.

The establishment of specialized committees in the fields of banking, customs, standard and transportations should be prioritized by the two countries, he highlighted.

The Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) is ready to cooperate with Armenian Export Insurance Agency to spur bilateral trade, he added, IRNA reported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the deputy minister of economy proposed that the two countries should set up the training working group for traders and merchants aimed at familiarizing them with the standard criteria.

He also invited the Armenian deputy minister of economy to participate in the EAEU Exhibition, which will be held in Tehran in the near future.
