The resistance group said in a statement released this morning that its fighters struck the 7200 military base of the Israeli army, targeting the facility at 6 a.m. local time.
The attack was part of Hezbollah’s effort to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, defend Lebanon, and respond to the "savage aggression" of the Israeli military against Lebanese towns and civilians.
Hezbollah stressed that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon remains ready to protect the country and its citizens.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli military had warned residents of southern Lebanon to stay away from the border with occupied Palestine and coastal areas up to the city of Tyre, citing heightened security concerns.
Hezbollah responded by issuing a statement in Hebrew, cautioning settlers to avoid areas near the Lebanese border extending to the coastal city of Haifa, as well as Israeli military bases.
The resistance group's operations room reiterated that the Israeli military has not succeeded in gaining control over any hills in its recent advances.
Hezbollah warned that Israeli military installations remain targets for its missile and air units.
