The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah confirmed it fired a barrage of rockets at a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the al-Jardah site on Saturday.
The resistance group said the operation was carried out “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for a missile strike targeting the Soma base in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, stating it was in retaliation for recent Israeli attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
Additional Hezbollah strikes hit Israeli military positions, including a salvo of missiles launched at the Zarit barracks and a position in Mi’ilya, located in the western Galilee region.
The Lebanese group reported hitting an Israeli military bulldozer with a guided missile near the Ramia military site.
Further actions included shelling an Israeli infantry unit at the Khirbet Zarit outpost, resulting in a direct hit.
Hezbollah forces also targeted the 7200 base south of Haifa and a factory in the area, using advanced rockets.
The resistance fighters struck a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the southern Lebanese village of Blida and shelled the coastal city of Tiberias in the occupied lands.
Separately, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced new operations against Israeli military sites in the occupied territories using kamikaze drones.
The group said the strikes were a response to the ongoing Israeli military assault on Gaza and airstrikes on Lebanon.
The Iraqi resistance group stated they had targeted a vital location in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, “in support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians.”
A second drone attack was carried out against a key site in the same region later in the day.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq vowed to intensify its operations against strategic targets across the Israeli-occupied territories.
