Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Syria’s Foreign Minister Bassam al-Sabbagh, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held separate telephone conversations with their Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi on Saturday to discuss the latest regional developments.

The top diplomats of Qatar, Syria and Egypt condemned the Israeli regime’s act of aggression against a number of military sites in Iran and underlined the need for more efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, stop the Zionist regime’s war machine and restore stability and security in the region.

Araqchi outlined Iran’s position over the issues and stressed that Iran will not hesitate to give a decisive and appropriate response to aggression against its territorial integrity and security in due course, the Foreign Ministry’s website reported.

Araqchi added that the international community should take immediate and effective measures to establish a just ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon in order to prevent the broadening of the war across the entire region.
