The IRGC Ground Force has staged a war game, codenamed “Martyrs of Security”, in Sistan and Balouchestan since November 1.

IRGC Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour announced on Monday that 80 percent of the terrorists in southeastern Iran have been killed or arrested in the joint operations by the Iranian military forces during the exercise.

He stated that the main elements of the terrorist teams in the area have gotten killed or injured in the strikes by the IRGC combat drones, noting that a few number of terrorists have also been scattered.

The general pledged that the military operations will continue until the elimination of all terrorists.

On October 26, a patrol unit of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FARAJA) came under attack in the Goharkooh region of Taftan county.

Armed outlaws opened fire on the patrol unit, killing 10 forces, including draftees and official Police servicemen.
