The FIBA Regional Office - Asia was informed by the Kazakhstan Basketball Federation of its decision not to travel to Iran for the game in the second Window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers.
Kazakhstan was supposed to play Iran at the Azadi Basketball Hall in Tehran.
Earlier in the day, India suffered a 69-53 defeat against Qatar in its third Group E match at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
Iran, headed by Sotiris Manolopoulos, will face Qatar in Doha on Monday .
The 2025 FIBA Asia Cup will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from August 5 to 17.
