Nassaji winger Kevin Yamga scored the visiting team’s only goal in the 25th minute.
Nassaji’s Alexander Merkel was shown his second yellow card in the 74th minute. Nassaji defender Armin Sohrabian was also sent off in the stoppage time and Persepolis defender Ayoub El Amloud was shown second yellow card one minute later.
Persepolis remained third two points adrift of leader Tractor.
Esteghlal also defeated Foolad 2-0 in Ahvaz’s Foolad Arena later in the day.
Raphael Silva put the visiting team into the head in the third minute and Amir Ali Sadeghi made it 2-0 in the 21st minute.
Esteghlal moved up to eighth place with 14 points, eight points behind leaders Tractor.
