Tractor Beats Gol Gohar to Return to IPL Top
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ten-man Tractor defeated Gol Gohar 2-0 on Monday and returned to the top of the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL).
Tractor midfielder Igor Postonjski was sent of in the 45th minute in Sirjan’s Gol Gohar Sport Complex.
Tomislav Strkalj scored Tractor’s first goal in the 68th minute and Mehdi Hashemnejhad made it 2-0 with a powerful shot in the 76th minute.
Tractor moved up to the top of the table with 25 points, one point above Sepahan. Persepolis sits third with 20 points and one game in hands.
