In a message on Tuesday, December 17, Pezeshkian extended his congratulations on Qatar’s National Day to the Emir and the people of the Persian Gulf Arab country.
In the message to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Iranian president expressed hope that bilateral relations would expand in all fields through joint efforts.
Pezeshkian also said Iran is determined to use all capacities to develop cooperation with Qatar based on historical ties as well as political, cultural, and popular bonds, his website reported.
Qatar celebrates its National Day on December 18 to mark the unification of the country in 1878.
