Shams Azar defeated IPL leader Tractor 1-0 in Tabriz’s Yadegar-e Emam Stadium, courtesy of a goal from Mojtaba Fakhrian in the 26th minute.
Mes defeated Persepolis 3-1 in Tehran’s Shahr-e Qods Stadium. Amir Hossein Jolani scored an early goal for Mes just four minutes into the match and Kofi Schulz doubled the lead in the 34th minute.
Ali Alipour pulled a goal back in the 78th minute from the penalty spot but Mes player Mohammad Alinejad scored the third goal in the stoppage time.
Sepahan and Gol Gohar shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Sirjan. Alireza Alizadeh scored for the host with a header just two minutes into the match and Reza Asadi equalized the match in the 86th minute.
Zob Ahan edged past Malavan 1-0 in Isfahan, thanks to a goal from Hassan Shoushtari.
Tractor sits top with 28 points, followed by Sepahan with an inferior goal difference.
Foolad is third with 24 points, one point above Persepolis.
