Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei told reporters on Thursday that Araqchi’s visit will be made at the official invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Highlighting the very good relations between the Islamic Republic and China in all fields, he noted that Araqchi’s visit will be his first trip to China in the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Baqaei added that the foreign minister will hold talks in Beijing about bilateral ties and the implementation of the comprehensive plan for cooperation.
He will also exchange views with senior Chinese officials on regional and international developments, the spokesman went on to say.
