Echoing remarks by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the IRGC said the future of Iran and the region is bright, as the resistance forces will overcome the front of arrogance and Zionism and will prevent the sinister plots from undermining the course of the Islamic Revolution, which is creating civilization and freedom.

On December 30, 2009, millions of demonstrators held nation-wide rallies in Iran to pledge allegiance to the Islamic establishment, putting an end to post-election unrest.
