Qalibaf also hailed the Payambar-e Azam (The Great Prophet) 19 war game held last week with a focus on air defense.

They showcased new aspects of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s might and defensive and combat capabilities, Qalibaf said at an open session of the Parliament on Monday morning.

They also demonstrated to the enemies the serious determination and deterrent capability of our beloved country to enemies, he said.

“We are grateful for the tireless efforts of all the warriors in the armed forces and express our appreciation to them.”

On Friday, the newest underground “missile city” of the IRGC accommodating advanced Iranian missiles was unveiled.

The cache of projectiles stored in the facility includes Emad, Qadr and Qiam missiles which run on liquid fuel.

The Great Prophet 19 war game, held by the Army and the IRGC, covered the country’s southeast, south, and west regions. These operations were designed to improve combat readiness and test newly developed weapon systems.
