The official account of khamenei.ir website released a post in X on Thursday, January 16, citing remarks made by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
“It will be written in books that there was a mob who once killed thousands of children & women in Gaza! Everyone will realize it was the patience of the people & steadfastness of Palestinian Resistance & Resistance Front that forced Zionist regime to retreat,” the post read.
It came after the announcement of a ceasefire deal between Hamas and the Israeli regime in Gaza.
The resistance movement Hamas has lauded the steadfastness and noble resistance of the Palestinians that forced Israel to agree to the ceasefire in its genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli regime’s war in Gaza has killed at least 46,707 Palestinians and wounded 110,265 since October 7, 2023.
