IRGC General Shrugs Off Trump’s Threats
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force derided the US president’s comments that he prefers negotiations over bombing Iran, saying the US would not dare to attack.
Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh on Monday attended demonstrations in Tehran marking the 46th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Asked by reporters about US President Donald Trump’s recent comments that he would prefer a deal with Iran to “bombing the hell out of it”, the IRGC Aerospace Force chief said Trump does not have the guts to do so.
“Powerful Iran does not give in to force,” General Hajizadeh said, stressing that there is no need for concern about the external threats.
