Iran's Foreign Minister to Attend Indian Ocean Rim Meeting in Oman
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi will travel to Oman this week to participate in the eighth Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) ministerial meeting, according to a statement from the ministry’s spokesperson Esmail Baqaei.
Baqaei announced that Seyed Abbas Araqchi is visiting Muscat at the official invitation of Oman, India, and Singapore, who are co-hosting the event.
The eighth ministerial meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Association, themed "Towards New Horizons of Maritime Partnership," will bring together high-level representatives from 20 member countries in Muscat this week.
In addition to attending and delivering a speech at the meeting, Iran's foreign minister will hold bilateral discussions with his counterparts and other officials participating in the event.
