Iran, Lebanon Mull Resolving Flight Disruptions

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Lebanese counterpart Yousseff Rajji discussed the bilateral ties and the regional developments in a telephone conversation on Saturday.

Araqchi congratulated Rajji on his appointment as Lebanon’s new top diplomat, wishing him and the new Lebanese government the best of luck.

The two foreign ministers underlined the necessity to expand relations between the two nations in the political, economic, trade and cultural spheres in the best interests of both nations and based on mutual respect, the ministry’s website reported.

They also weighed plans to resolve the snag in passenger flights between Iran and Lebanon.

The two ministers further declared their readiness for constructive talks based on good-faith.
