Administration Committed to Addressing Challenges: Iran’s President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted his administration’s commitment to working to address all challenges.
Following a meeting at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance on Wednesday, Pezeshkian underlined that his unannounced visit to the ministry was focused on addressing economic issues and countering certain propaganda campaigns, and that his administration is dedicated to working collaboratively to tackle public challenges.
Pezeshkian denied rumors on dismissal of any cabinet members, noting that his cabinet is resolute in its efforts to confront existing problems.
He also acknowledged the presence of challenges but stressed that solutions are available and require time for implementation. Since the beginning of the administration, government managers and staff have united to address imbalances rather than engaging in blame game regarding the current situation, the president said.
The 14th administration faced many challenges, including the claims of wheat farmers, teachers, retirees, and nurses, which led to protests and strikes, he noted, according to President.ir.
Pezeshkian said that his administration is committed to addressing all challenges, thanks to the exemplary unity among the three branches of government. He also expressed gratitude to the heads of Judiciary and Legislative branches for their cooperation in this effort.
Despite predictions of severe shortages of gas and electricity starting in November 2024, the president stated that with the support of people and collaboration with other government branches, the country succeeded in overcoming these challenges.
Pezeshkian further addressed foreign threats since the onset of his presidency, mentioning that certain foreign-backed media outlets aim to dishearten the Iranian nation. However, he asserted that the Iranian authorities and people remain united, and adversaries will not succeed in their agenda against the country.
Together, he argued, the nation will overcome all crises with the guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
