The Iranian foreign minister, who had traveled to Lebanon to attend the funeral of late leaders of Hezbollah, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddine, has flown to Geneva.
Araqchi is going to participate in the high-level segment of the UN Conference on Disarmament and the UN Human Rights Council session to outline Iran’s positions, the ministry’s website reported.
The foreign minister will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries as well as with the UN secretary-general.
The high-level segment of the UN Conference on Disarmament will be held from February 24 to 28 in room XIX of the Palais des Nations.
