Mahdi al-Mashat, in an article dedicated to Nasrallah, described him as a father figure to freedom-loving people worldwide and a master and brother to those committed to justice. “He was compassionate, generous, and humble to all people, pursuing the righteous path until the day of his martyrdom,” Mashat wrote.
He added that Nasrallah achieved all he aspired to in life, defeated Israel, shattered its army’s aura of invincibility, and stood by the oppressed in the pursuit of justice.
Mashat further portrayed the late Hezbollah leader as a martyr for the Muslim world and humanity as a whole. “He is a martyr who walked the path toward al-Quds and Palestine. He is a martyr of Lebanon and Yemen, of truth and justice, and of all noble values,” he noted.
The senior Yemeni official stressed that Nasrallah dedicated his life to defending Islamic values. “For decades, the oppressed—from Lebanon to Palestine, from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Afghanistan, from Syria to Iraq and beyond—found no supporter like him,” Mashat stated.
He praised Nasrallah as a symbol of sacrifice, emphasizing that no one had upheld the Palestinian cause as he did. “His testimony in support of Gaza is the most eloquent expression of how a person stands with his people,” Mashat said.
