Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan held a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
The two diplomats discussed the latest regional developments in the conversation.
They also weighed plans for an upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), due to be held in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah.
Iran has proposed a ministerial meeting of the OIC to address a plot initiated by the US and Israel on the forced relocation of Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip.
