Mehdi Taj Re-Elected Head of Iran Football Federation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehdi Taj was elected as the head of Iran’s football federation for another four-year term on Saturday.

In the elections, held in Tehran’s Espinas Hotel, Taj secured 72 votes and retained his position.

Mehdi Mohammad Nabi and Heydar Baharvand were elected as the federation’s vice-presidents.

Amir Abedini came second with 10 votes.

Taj was elected as head of the football federation for the third time.
