Al Nassr Forward Ronaldo to Miss Esteghlal Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr football team, will miss the first leg of the AFC Champions League Elite 2024-25 Round of 16 tie against Esteghlal.
The match is set to take place on Monday at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Ronaldo is currently unfit, and the coaching staff has decided to rest him for this match.
He also missed the recent encounter against Persepolis in late February, which ended in a goalless draw.
