Iranian President Hopes for Cooperation among Muslims in Ramadan Message

In a message on Sunday, the president of Iran congratulated the heads and people of Islamic countries on the beginning of Ramadan.

He described the holy Islamic month as a valuable opportunity to ponder the creation of humans and the world, obey divine orders, and help the poor.

Pezeshkian also expressed hope that the holy month of Ramadan and the collective action by the heads of Islamic countries would result in the expansion of cooperation among the Muslim nations and stronger efforts to relieve the pains of the Palestinian nation as well as the oppressed people in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and a time when Muslims across the world fast during the hours of daylight.
