Iranian Defense Minister in Belarus to Cement Ties
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Defense Minister of Iran Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has traveled to Belarus to hold talks on the promotion of military cooperation between the two countries.
The Iranian defense minister, who arrived in Minsk on Tuesday, is going to hold meetings with the military commanders and government officials of Belarus to weigh plans for the enhancement of cooperation in various fields.
General Nasirzadeh is expected to discuss ways to promote defense cooperation and exchange technical experiences between the two nations.
The Iranian Defense Ministry said the visit, aimed at strengthening the strategic relations between Tehran and Minsk, shows the two countries’ determination to expand cooperation.
