Sepahan, Nassaji Share the Spoils: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team was held to a 1-1 draw against Nassaji in 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
Reza Shekari scored for Sepahan in the 43rd minute at the Shahid Vatani Stadium in Ghaemshahr, but Kevin Yamga equalized the match in the first half’s injury time from the spot.
Elsewhere, rock-bottom Havadar was defeated against Shams Azar 3-2 in Tehran and Kheybar defeated Chadormalou 2-0 in Khorramabad.
Persepolis will host Malavan in Tehran on Friday, Mes play Esteghlal Khuzestan in Rafsanjan and Foolad face Aluminum in Ahvaz.
Sepahan provisionally moved up top with 46 points, one point above Tractor, who has two matches in hand.
