Iran's Army Calls on Nations to Support Palestine on Quds Day

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran's Army has urged nations and freedom-seekers worldwide to stand in solidarity with Palestine and strive for the liberation of Al-Quds, condemning Israeli aggression and Western support for its crimes.

The Iranian Army issued a statement ahead of the last Friday of Ramadan, marking International Quds Day, emphasizing the need for global unity in support of Palestine.

Referring to the annual event as a lasting legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the statement called for solidarity among Muslim nations against "occupying, aggressive, and child-killing regime" of Israel.

The statement criticized Western countries for their continued support of Israel and backing decades of crimes against Palestinians. "For decades, colonial Western governments and Zionist capitalists have conspired to establish this bloodthirsty regime in the heart of the Islamic world, leading to the martyrdom, injury, imprisonment, and displacement of millions of innocent people," it said.

It further condemned continued Israeli aggressions and attacks on civilians and infrastructure, including places of worship, schools, hospitals, and UN facilities, denouncing the "shameful silence" of human rights advocates. "The Zionist regime adheres to no humanitarian, moral, or legal principles," the statement declared, stressing that the only solution to the Palestinian crisis is continued resistance and global unity against Israel.

The Army urged nations and freedom-seekers worldwide to raise their voices in support of Palestine and actively work toward the liberation of Al-Quds.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the commitment of Iran’s military personnel and their families to participate in Quds Day demonstrations, echoing the words of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei: "We are passionate about fighting Zionists." The army declared its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution until the complete liberation of Al-Quds.
