Enemies Will Regret Threats against Iran: FM

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran won’t allow anyone to speak to it with the language of force, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stressed, warning the enemies that they will regret threatening the Islamic Republic.

In an interview with Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV on Monday, Araqchi dismissed the notion that the American strikes on Yemen are a prelude to an act of aggression against Iran.

Those claims are not anything new to Iran, as such threats have been heard a lot before, the foreign minister stated.

Araqchi emphasized that Iran will never tolerate threats and won’t allow anybody to speak with the language of force. “The enemies will regret their threats,” he underlined.

The Iranian foreign minister described Yemen’s success in the course of resistance as the reason for the US strikes on the Arab country.

“The Yemenis are heroes and are vigorously championing their goals. The Americans took an act of aggression against Yemen because they realized that Sana’a is gaining victory and resists,” he said.

Araqchi stated that the process of aggression against Yemen will end in failure, as the attempts to defeat the Yemeni nation have been futile during the past 10 years.

“This is now obvious that it’s impossible to defeat Yemenis with attacks and aggression,” the Iranian foreign minister concluded.
