President Pezeshkian stressed that close relations between Iran and Iraq is essential for countering the schemes of adversaries who seek to incite discord among the regional nations.
For his part, Prime Minister Sudani expressed optimism that the joint efforts will lead to greater unity and solidarity among the Iranian, Iraqi, and other Islamic nations.
The Iraqi premier stressed the need for the expansion of friendly ties between Iran and Iraq in order to effectively meet the challenges in their sensitive region and to stand united against the common threats.
He also acknowledged the longstanding empathy shown by the Iraqi government and people towards the Iranian nation, affirming Iraq's commitment to supporting Iran against any inappropriate ambitions.
Sudani finally expressed confidence that Iran will successfully rise to challenges with the wisdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and President Pezeshkian.
