In remarks at a meeting with senior military personnel on Sunday, Major General Baqeri said detailed plans have been drawn up in such a way that, whenever necessary, “the flood of our capabilities will inundate the enemies” immediately on the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s orders.
The general warned the enemies that Iran’s response to any violation of its border or interests will be “crushing and irreparable”.
Pointing to Operations True Promise I and II against the Israeli regime in 2024, the commander said Iran has very well assessed the capabilities and the weaknesses of the enemy and itself and has managed to fix a number of problems accurately at the shortest time possible.
Major General Baqeri gave an assurance that Iran’s capabilities in terms of air defense, missiles, drones and cruise missiles have significantly grown in comparison with when Operation True Promise II was conducted in October 2024.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is not a warmonger, but it would not tolerate bullying and force and will stand against it,” he underlined.
In remarks on March 31, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the US and the Israeli regime that if they commit any vicious acts, they will definitely receive a strong reciprocal blow from Iran.
“First, if any hostile act is committed from outside —though the likelihood is not high— it will undoubtedly be met with a strong counterstrike. Second, if the enemy, as in previous years, seeks to incite internal sedition, the nation will respond decisively to the instigators, just as it has in the past,” the Leader stated.
