Yemeni media reported that the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Marib and Hudaydah were hit 22 times during the early hours of the morning.
According to Al-Masirah, the Jarban area in the Sanhan district, located south of Sanaa, was targeted six times.
The Al-Jumaymah area in the Bani Hashish district, east of the capital, was struck five times.
In Hudaydah province, US forces conducted two airstrikes on Kamaran Island, situated off Yemen’s western coast.
Yemeni outlets further reported fresh US attacks on areas in Marib province in the northeast of the country.
The Majzar district was targeted five times, while the Kufal area in Sirwah saw two strikes.
The Al-Jubah district was also hit twice.
The renewed strikes come as part of US operations in support of Israel, according to Yemeni sources.
In a statement, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced a new operation against Israel and US warships.
He stated that Yemen’s drone unit launched a "Yafa" drone targeting a military site in the occupied city of Tel Aviv.
The statement added that the drone and naval forces conducted a joint military operation, striking two American destroyers in the Red Sea using several cruise missiles and drones.
Saree said the attacks were a direct response to the continued US aggression and crimes against the Yemeni people.
He emphasized that US strikes on residential neighborhoods in several provinces further demonstrate Washington’s failure to achieve its objectives.
“These crimes will only strengthen the Yemeni people’s determination to maintain their firm stance in support of the Palestinian people, in accordance with their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty,” the statement read.
The armed forces reiterated that their support operations will continue unless the assault on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.
