Esteghlal Held by Gol Gohar: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Esteghlal football team earned a late 1-1 draw against Gol Gohar in the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
In the match, held in Sirjan’s Gol Gohar Sport Complex, Esteghlal forward Mohammad Reza Azadi scored an own goal in the ninth minute but Ramin Rezaeian equalized the match from the penalty spot in injury time.
Earlier in the day, rock-bottom Havadar lost to Mes 4-0 in Tehran.
