Saipa Loses to Vietnamese Club in 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saipa of Iran lost to Vietnamese club VTV Binh Dien Long An 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15) in the 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship.
Vietnamese Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was awarded MVP honor, having scored 18 points.
With this result, Saipa failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the 2025 AVC Women’s Club Championship.
Saipa had lost to Chinses giant Beijing BAIC Motor in Pool C in its first match.
The competition is being held in Pasig, the Philippines from April 20 to 27.
