Yemeni Ballistic Missile Triggers Sirens across Israeli-Occupied Territories

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A ballistic missile launched by Yemen’s armed forces triggered air raid sirens across several areas of Israeli-occupied territories on Saturday, following the launch of a ballistic missile by the Yemeni Armed Forces targeting the occupying Zionist entity.

Air raid sirens sounded in multiple towns and cities across southern Israeli-occupied territories, including Beersheba, after the launch of a ballistic missile by the Yemeni Armed Forces, Israeli media reported.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The Israeli military claimed that its air defense systems intercepted the missile before it crossed into the skies over the occupied territories.

The retaliatory attack was in protest to Israel’s ongoing “genocidal war” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where nearly 51,500 people, mostly women and children, have been killed, according to Palestinian sources.

The missile launch followed a series of United States airstrikes across Yemen earlier in the day.

Five strikes hit the Nihm district in Sana’a province, and the Bani Matar district was also targeted, according to local media.

No immediate casualties were reported.

American warplanes also carried out seven airstrikes on the Medghal district in Ma’rib province.

Separately, Yemen’s Saba news agency, citing a local source, said a woman was killed and another civilian wounded when a US airstrike struck a residential building in Sahar district, Sa’ada province.

US aircraft also bombed the At Tawilah district in al-Mahwit province and launched four strikes on the Ras Isa fuel terminal in Hudaydah province.

In response to the Israeli brutal war in Gaza and US and British operations in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched retaliatory attacks against Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.

As the war in Gaza escalated, Yemeni forces imposed a blockade on key maritime routes in an effort to disrupt military supplies to Israel and raise international awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel ends its genocidal war in Gaza.
