Peace Possible through Trade, Iran’s President Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Trade, investment and constrictive interaction among the countries, coupled with respect for the rights of nations, will pave the way for peace and security, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said.

In an address to the opening of the 7th Export Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran Expo 2025) in Tehran on Monday, Pezeshkian voiced Iran's readiness to enhance cooperation with the friendly countries in all areas, including scientific, economic, cultural, political, and social sectors.

The president stressed that there are no limits to the exchange of experiences, skills, knowledge, and technologies.

Emphasizing the importance of regional and international collaboration, Pezeshkian stated that peace and security are fostered through constructive trade, investment, and interaction among nations.

He underscored that mutual respect for the rights of nations and genuine cooperation are essential prerequisites for achieving these goals, the president’s official website reported.

Iran serves as a vital crossroads connecting the East to the West and the North to the South, the president noted.

He also highlighted Iran's ample opportunities for the investors, traders, and tourists, which can pave the way for a future filled with health, security, and peace for the region and the world.

The president described Iran as a hospitable nation with warm and welcoming people, asserting that anti-Iran propaganda in the media is unfounded.

He encouraged travelers to experience the reality of Iran, which contrasts sharply with the narratives presented by certain media outlets.

Pezeshkian finally reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to respecting territorial integrity, the rights of states, and humanitarian principles. He emphasized the shared responsibility of nations to build a better future, reminding them that the Earth belongs to all humanity and that as neighbors, humans must work together to create a brighter future for posterity.
