Landslide Kills 3 in Afghanistan's Badakhshan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Three individuals have lost their lives and another sustained injury due to a landslide in northern Afghanistan's Badakhshan province on Monday, provincial director for Information and Culture Hekmatullah Mohammadi said.
The gruesome incident took place at the coastal area of a river in Yawan district, the official said, without providing more details, Xinhua reported.
A similar incident claimed two lives and injured six others in Yamgan district of Badakhshan in June last year.
