Yemeni Forces Strike Israeli Ramat David Airbase with Hypersonic Missile

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Yemen's armed forces announced a ballistic missile strike on Israel's Ramat David Airbase near Haifa in retaliation for Israeli criminal actions in Gaza and US support for Tel Aviv.

The spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, Yahya Saree, said the strike targeted the airbase in occupied Haifa using a “Palestine 2” hypersonic ballistic missile.

He stated the attack was carried out in support of Palestinians in Gaza and in direct response to Israeli brutal wat and US backing of those criminal actions.

“Our missile struck the Ramat David Airbase, and enemy air defenses failed to intercept it,” Saree said in a televised statement.

Yemeni forces praised the fighters in Gaza for their resistance and vowed continued support “until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted.”

The statement confirmed that Yemen would persist in launching attacks deep into Israeli-held territory as long as assaults on Gaza continue.

Following the launch, air raid sirens were triggered across the Galilee and Haifa region, causing widespread panic.

The Israeli military claimed that the projectile was intercepted and destroyed, though no independent confirmation has been provided.

Siren alerts were also reported in Wadi Ara and surrounding areas, forcing thousands of Israeli settlers to flee to bomb shelters during the night.

Earlier missile attacks by Yemen’s military on April 25–26 reportedly struck the Nevatim Airbase and a critical facility in Tel Aviv.
