Date Set for New Round of Iran-US Talks

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The timing of the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the US has been determined, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Tehran Dialogue Forum on Sunday, Araqchi said the date of the next round of talks with the US has been determined and will be announced soon.

The next round of negotiations will probably be held soon, he added, saying the time and location of the talks will be made public later.

Asked if Oman has relayed any message from the US to Iran, the foreign minister said, “We have not received any written message from Oman.”

Iran and the US have held four rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the purpose of reaching a deal on Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions on Tehran.
