The IRGC, relying upon its unshakeable people-based strength, is at the pinnacle of might and continues to promote its preparedness in the face of the enemies day by day, the IRGC said in a statement on Saturday, released on the occasion of the anniversary of liberation of Khorramshahr, a city in southwestern Iran that had been occupied by the Iraq's Baathist army in the early 1980s under former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
The statement noted that the IRGC works in synergy with the other Iranian armed forces and has its finger on the trigger to give a decisive response to any hostile action, warning that its reaction to the acts of aggression will be beyond the enemy’s imagination and make the aggressors regret.
The statement cautioned that the IRGC’s response to the acts of aggression will turn the strategic equations of power in favor of the front of the truth and against the US and its proxy Zionist regime in West Asia.
In remarks in March, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the enemies that any evil action against Iran will draw its harsh retaliatory response.
