Thousands in Yemen March Against Israeli Atrocities in Gaza, Al-Aqsa

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Thousands of Yemenis took to the streets in the northern province of Saada on Friday, voicing strong support for Gaza and denouncing Israeli aggression, as part of weekly demonstrations that have drawn growing participation.

Residents of Saada, in northwestern Yemen, held large-scale protests once again this Friday, continuing a trend of weekly demonstrations against Israeli genocidal war in Gaza.

Protesters marched under the slogan: “There is no security for the regime... Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque are under attack,” calling attention to the continued Israeli assaults on Palestinian territories.

Participants declared their unwavering support for the people of Gaza and condemned the silence of international powers amid the ongoing crimes by Israel.

“The people of Saada affirm that they will never abandon Gaza,” protest organizers stated during the rally.

In a televised speech, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, said that Israel is targeting Sanaa International Airport as part of broader efforts to suppress Muslim nations and pressure Yemen to withdraw support for Palestine.

“This aggression by the Zionist regime is meant to weaken our resolve in standing with the oppressed people of Palestine,” al-Houthi said.

He added: “We are working to take a stronger stance alongside the Palestinian people, who are enduring unprecedented suffering.”

Al-Houthi warned that the continuation of the genocide against Palestinians would compel Yemen’s armed forces to intensify their military operations.

“The escalation of attacks on the Gaza Strip will push our forces toward escalating our own operations against the Israeli regime,” he emphasized.
