In comments after a cabinet session in Tehran on Wednesday, Mohammad Eslami lashed out at the US and the European troika for initiating a resolution against Iran at the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency under the influence of the Zionist lobbies and pushing for the adoption of the resolution.

He said Iran’s legitimate request is that the IAEA must prepare its reports in a professional and technical manner, within the framework of regulations, and in accordance with its duties.

Eslami also deplored the IAEA’s latest report on Iran for being biased and influenced by the political pressures and lacking in logical, technical and legal grounds.

In a televised interview on Tuesday night, Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei warned that if the IAEA Board of Governors passes the anti-Iranian resolution, Tehran will definitely show an appropriate reaction.
