Iran Warns of Repercussions of Silence on US Attacks

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Iran cautioned about the far-reaching consequences of muted response to the American strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

In a telephone conversation with his French counterpart on Sunday night, Abbas Araqchi strongly condemned the US’ aggressive military attacks on the peaceful nuclear facilities of Iran.

He denounced the offense as a violation of all international rules and regulations, above all the United Nations Charter.

Araqchi warned that the silence and inaction of the other countries on the American aggression will have far-reaching consequences for all states.

While the Zionist regime waged a war of aggression against Iran on June 13 and has been striking Iran’s military and nuclear sites, the US stepped in and conducted military attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran’s Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan early Sunday.

The Iranian officials said Tehran reserves the right to resort to its own options for reaction to the US attacks.
