The IRGC on Monday evening targeted the United States’ Al-Udeid air base in Qatar with a devastating and powerful missile attack in an operation codenamed “Promise of Victory” in retaliation for Washington’s recent attack on three Iranian nuclear sites.
In remarks after the operation, IRGC Commander Major General Pakpour said the strategic airbase, known as the “beating heart” of the US central command in the West Asia, was struck in response to the criminal America’s recent evil act of aggression against Iran’s nuclear sites.
He said the strategic American target in Qatar, which was being protected with special and multi-layered systems, sustained damages in the Iranian missile attack.
Taking a swipe at the “stupid” president of the US for sacrificing the security and interests of Americans for the survival of the Zionist regime, the IRGC commander warned the US that any repetition of aggression against Iran will trigger more crushing responses that will further make Washington regret acting against the Islamic Republic and will give the aggressor a lesson that would go down in history.
