Spanish Coach Alvarez Added to Persepolis Coaching Staff

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Emilio Alvarez was named Persepolis football team assistant coach on Monday.

Sports

The 53-year-old served as Tractor assistant last season.

He has also worked as goalkeeping coach in Manchester United, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Benfica.

Amir Hossein Peyrovani has been also named as assistant coach in the club.

On Friday, former Iran forward Vahid Hashemian was appointed as Persepolis head coach.
