The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Minister said in an X post that Foreign Minister Araqchi had a short stop in Jeddah on Tuesday on his way back to Iran from Brazil, where he took part in the summit of BRICS.
The spokesperson said Araqchi held talks with high-ranking Saudi officials over the bilateral relations as well as peace and security of the region.
“FM Araqchi hold fruitful conversations with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, FM Amir Faisal bin Farhan and Defense Minister Amir Khaled bin Salman about Iran-Saudi bilateral relations and latest developments in the region,” Esmaeil Baqaei said.
