Chen Wei-An led the victorious team with an impressive 18 points and 7 rebounds, supported by Huang Ling-Chuan’s consistent 17 points, including five three-pointers.

Iran fought valiantly, spearheaded by Mahla Abedi’s outstanding double-double performance of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Despite its efforts, Iran fell short in the Division B final for the second consecutive edition.

This victory marks Chinese Taipei’s return to Division A for the 2027 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup and highlights its memorable journey for redemption.

In a thrilling rematch, Thailand edged out Mongolia 78-73 in the third-place game, avenging an earlier loss in a fiercely contested game.
