Water Mains Burst in Jerusalem, Causing Widespread Outage

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A series of water main breaks in Jerusalem (occupied Al-Quds) have caused widespread disruptions for 48 hours.

World

Srugim media reported that widespread water outages in Jerusalem have infuriated the residents.

The Israeli Water Company has announced in a statement that major infrastructure disruptions and a sudden spike in water pressure have caused serious damages to several pumping stations. Officials warned that the situation could persist for several more days.

In recent weeks, multiple components of the Israeli regime’s water infrastructure, including pumping stations and desalination ponds, have suffered similar failures. These disruptions have led to widespread outages, with residents in various regions of the occupied territories experiencing water cuts lasting from several hours to several days.

The lack of transparency from the Israeli authorities about the cause of the disruptions, coupled with prolonged water outages during scorching hot summer days, has sparked growing frustration among residents. Protests are mounting across the occupied Palestinian territories, as the problem is escalating into a serious crisis.
