TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Judiciary is working on the cases of at least 20 spies and elements linked with the Israeli regime’s Mossad who have been arrested in Iran, a spokesman said.

Speaking at a presser on Saturday, the spokesperson for the Iranian Judiciary said 20 people working as Mossad’s spies, logistical operators and the elements linked with them have been arrested in Tehran and a number of other provinces.

Asghar Jahangir said interrogators are working on the cases of the arrestees, a number of whom had been captured before the Zionist regime launched a war of aggression against Iran on June 13.

The people that had cooperated with the Israeli regime at the beginning of the war in some way are being investigated, he added.

The spokesman noted that a number of arrestees were released after being acquitted of connection with the Israeli regime.

The Iranian Judiciary has tightened up on the spies and elements of enemies after the Zionist regime launched an unprovoked war against the country on June 13.

More than 1,000 Iranians, including senior military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens were martyred in the Israeli attacks.
